And so my next adventure is about to begin....!

I knew as Spring semester was ending last year that this coming junior year would be an amazing one. I had an unforgettable experience in Japan with my 360 cohort, and now am about to embark on a crazy semester abroad in Denmark. I don't know a lick of the language, and prepping is just starting to become a bit overwhelming. I guess I'm a bit late in coming on this boat. I leave in exactly a week, and feel like there are a ton of things I should be thinking about but haven't. But I'm not too stressed.

The exciting part is that I'm leaving with Sarah Jenness, another student from Bryn Mawr, a close friend, and fellow Posse Scholar. It also just so happens that we will be neighbors for the semester. This was totally unplanned but a very pleasant surprise. We will be living roughly 30 minutes from Copenhagen is a city called Roskilde. Our dorm is located on RUC Univeristy and gives us our own rooms, kitchenette, and bathroom. What nice personal space that I have been dying for!

The surrounding area doesn't seem to have much going on, so I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. The building does look pretty cool from the outside, but I don't know if I can say the same about the interior.

I don't what to expect, but am just excited to see what comes my way and welcome it with open arms.
